Ingredients
- 1000 g water
- 50 g salt (kosher or pickling)
- 25 g brown sugar
- Herbs of choice (optional, skip for hot wings)
Instructions
- Combine water, salt, and brown sugar in a container and stir until dissolved
- Add herbs if using
- Submerge poultry in brine and refrigerate
Notes
- Ratio is 1000:50:25 (water:salt:sugar), multiply as needed for more brine
- Skip herbs if brining for hot wings
