Ground Beef Tacos

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup water
- 8 taco shells (hard or soft)
Toppings
- Shredded lettuce
- Diced tomato
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Sour cream
- Salsa
- Diced onion
- Cilantro
- Lime wedges
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, drain excess fat
- Add all spices and water, stir to combine
- Simmer for 5 minutes until the liquid has mostly reduced
- Warm taco shells according to package directions
- Fill shells with meat and desired toppings
Notes
- This seasoning blend replaces store-bought taco packets
- Double the seasoning and keep it in a jar for next time
