Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Toppings: fresh fruit, nuts, granola

Instructions

  1. Combine oats, milk, yogurt, chia seeds, sweetener, vanilla, and salt in a jar or container
  2. Stir well, cover, and refrigerate overnight (at least 4 hours)
  3. In the morning, stir and add toppings
  4. Eat cold or microwave for 1-2 minutes

Notes

  • Keeps in the fridge for up to 3 days
  • Great for meal prep -- make several jars on Sunday
  • Adjust milk amount for thicker or thinner consistency
